Children's Church

Most kids don't have the patience to sit through a sermon, right? Well, Children's Church is designed with them in mind, so both you and your children can worship at the same time. Children between the ages of 3 and 7 are first introduced to our worship service by participating with their parents or guardians for the first part of the 11:00am service in the sanctuary.* Then, following the Children's Moments, they may go with our children's leaders to Children's Church, where they continue learning about Jesus and God's love.

In Children's Church, children are helped to build their own worship foundation, through Bible lessons, mission study, and other fun activities appropriate to their ages. Videos, stories, crafts, music, and dancing are all part of getting to know God, and learning about God. Each week we have something new and special for our children.

*Children's Church meets during the 11:00am morning worship service, with the exception of Communion Sundays and other special services. Then, children are encouraged to remain throughout the service with their parents or guardians. At North Charleston United Methodist Church we believe that everyone is welcome at our Lord's Table, including children. Of course, children are always welcome to remain with parents or guardians throughout any worship service.
