Pastoral Care
Pastoral care, also called spiritual care, is about caring for each other as modeled by the life and ministry of Jesus. The pastor plays the lead role in providing pastoral care, although the entire congregation becomes involved in offering a supportive community where we can all find comfort in times of need and share our joy when our cups are full. Working together, we offer practical, emotional, and spiritual support for those who are ill or recovering, weary, bereaved, or facing one or more of life's stresses and difficulties.
By extending and receiving Jesus' compassion, we learn discipleship through works of mercy, and we preach the gospel through acts of kindness.
If you, or someone you care about, is in need of pastoral care, please contact the church office to arrange confidential support.
