Worship with Us
The goal of our worship, regardless of style, is to be a place where people come to be loved, uplifted, and empowered for following in the ways of Jesus everyday.
As United Methodists, we are inheritors of several different traditions, from ancient days to the present. We seek to infuse our worship with the best of these traditions and practices.
We offer blended, traditional worship with the singing of hymns, prayers, praise, children's time, scripture reading, choir anthems, and sermon. Our services address our lives where we are every day, while challenging and inspiring us ever to strive for the upward calling of Christ Jesus, in fresh, life-giving ways.
We enjoy various music styles, classical and contemporary, gospel and praise and more, once again, drawing from the best of each. Since the scriptures say so much about music, we see the ministry of music as one of the primary means for us to worship God.
We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion at least once a month on the first Sunday of the month. All people are invited to experience the mystery of Christ's presence in this meal of reconciliaton, celebration, and new life.
Baptism, the sacrament of initiation into the Church, is a living sign of God's grace and love. Because it is God's choice and not ours, baptism is open to people of every age. The waters of the font welcome and cleanse us, name us and claim us as God's own, and set us on the path of our faith journey.
